Name that game!

Yay! There is gonna be a new game! The name I thought of was... Rock Rain Racing! What name did you think of? Write it in the comments section!:

So if you guys remember, you voted on what you wanted the new Webosaurs game to be. After a ton of votes, Tree Climbing came out as your favorite. Now we get to vote again, except this time you are picking the name of the game!
It’s a mad race to the treetop while avoid falling lava rocks… what should we call it?
Post your submissions here. We will pick the three best at the end of the week and have you vote on your favorite!

Daily Dino Fact: Compy, the other white meat

Q: What was the tiniest dinosaur? -Djcoolio
A: The smallest dinosaur ever found was Compsognathus, described as a “chicken sized” dinosaur but was really about the size of a turkey. Commonly known as a compy, the theropod dinosaur was about 3 ft long in length and only weighed about 6.5 lbs. It was originally discovered in the 1850s by a German fossil hunter but a full adult specimen wasn’t discovered until 1972.
Compys are yet another dinosaur that can be found in Jurassic Park. You may remember the compy from Jurassic Park II as they are found in the opening scene on the beach and featured throughout the movie. Compsognathus was probably a fierce little guy, agile and fast enough to get away from most predators and able to easily hunt prey such as early mammals.

Gold Armor is Here!

We’ve been eagerly waiting the armor since whispers of its creation started going around. Then we were even more stoked when Stretch came by the island wearing a suit of it. Well now it can be all yours. Gold armor is only available for members and it is incredibly awesome. Can’t wait to see you guys around the island rockin’ this awesome gear!

Daily Dino Fact: More dinos than you’d think (And my question!!)

My question got posted for the second time! Well, it has said my name 3 times but one of them they put instead of someone elses name, they put mine! So, here is the Daily dino Fact!

Q: Do scientists have about an estimated amount of how many dinosaurs there were? -Flyergal
A: The only information we can truly know about how many dinosaurs there were is what we collect from fossils. Obviously, we haven’t recovered every single dinosaur that existed and our numbers are less than what actually lived. In a report released in 1990, Peter Dodson from the University of Pennsylvania estimates there were between 900-1200 genera of dinosaur present on earth during the course of the Mesozoic.
Even he admits that the number is probably smaller than the actual number, but it’s the best estimate we can give based on current data. Currently we’ve collected over 500 genera of dinosaur in addition to 100 genera (called nomen dubium) that may or may not be unique dinosaurs. There are over 100 genera of dinosaur right now waiting approval by the International Committee on Zoological Nomenclature.

Ice Cream Party was nom nomalicious!

Sorry I haven't been posting lately. I was lazy. But the ice cream party rocked!:

Webo Ridge was looking extra delicious today as we partied with our good friends Primary Games and Nitro. As always, the party was done in Webosaurs style. Big names, big games and big fun! Once we had gorged ourselves on all the ice cream laying about we took off to play some Snowball Skirmish and Matterhorn Big Air.
Everyone who came today will be receiving a free Ice Cream Sundae to put in their caves. If you attended, your sundae will appear in your cave on Monday. The best present of all though? An awesome time. Thanks Primary Games and Webosaurs for this awesome party!
